How Scams Are Happening
We have identified three main ways these fraudsters could try to steal money from you:
- False Promises: Scammers persuade you to willingly send money to places like the Philippines, Vietnam, or Thailand, based on the “doubling” lie.
- Hacked Accounts: Scammers could be trying to hack into your account and transfer funds. NEVER share your user name and password- we will NEVER ask you for this, and you should NEVER give it to anyone!
- Stolen Identities: Scammers are creating new accounts using stolen ID and credit/debit card details to load funds and send them away.
Protect Yourself: 3 Ways to Stay Safe
Please follow these crucial steps to keep your account and funds secure:
- NEVER send money to anyone promising to “double” your funds. If an offer sounds too good to be true, it is!
- NEVER share your account password, PIN, or verification codes with anyone—not even someone claiming to be from KlickEx. We will never ask you for this information.
- CHANGE your account password immediately if you suspect you may have been compromised.
